Kachu

Terms of Service

Last updated 5 October 2026

By using Kachu you agree to these terms. Kachu is provided by Vikas Yadav (sole proprietor), Mumbai, India.

What Kachu does

Kachu locks the apps you choose each day at your lock time. They unlock for the rest of the day when you finish a short routine. If you need an app before then, you can use an emergency unlock (30 minutes, up to 2 a day). You control which apps are locked and can turn Kachu's protection off in Android settings at any time.

Not medical advice

The routine is gentle movement for general well-being. Kachu is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition. Consult a healthcare professional for medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Move slowly and stop if anything hurts. If you have a neck, shoulder or spine condition, or any pain, ask a doctor before doing it. You do the routine at your own risk.

Who can use Kachu

You must be 18 or older.

Free and Premium

The free version shows ads and lets you lock one app, plus more apps by watching a short ad for each.

Premium removes ads and unlocks unlimited apps, a custom lock time and daily photos. It is sold through Google Play as:

You can cancel a subscription any time in the Play Store under Payments & subscriptions. Premium then stays active until the end of the period you paid for. Payments, renewals and refunds are handled by Google Play under Google Play's refund policy. Purchases restore on any phone signed in to the same Google account.

Prices may change. A price change for a running subscription follows Google Play's notice rules.

Your data

Your progress lives on your phone only. If you uninstall Kachu or change phones, your streak and photos do not come with you, but your Premium purchase does. See the Privacy Policy.

Fair use

Don't reverse-engineer, resell or tamper with Kachu, its ads or its purchase checks.

Liability

Kachu is provided as is. We do our best to keep the lock reliable, but Android, your phone maker's battery settings or your own settings can stop it from working. We are not responsible for any loss caused by an app being locked or not locked. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid for Kachu in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes

We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top, and for significant changes we will tell you in the app. Using Kachu after a change means you accept the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra have jurisdiction.
